Hong Kong Fashion Week arrived again – the time of the year which designers present their collection after endless sleepless nights, Hungry models strut down the runway dreaming about the slice of pizza they will enjoy when the show is over and Fashion Bloggers get dressed up and rush from show to show with their eyes and hands permanently on their phones for instant ig and fb posts whenever we have a chance to breath.
This year thanks to Icreate Makeup Workshop, I have the honour to work backstage as a hairstylist as well as being invited to watch many of the shows by Fashion Week’s organisers at HKTDC. From backstage to front row here is a photo diary of some of the favourite moments of my day. (caution this is a very long post but please read on cause the best photos is at the bottom lol)
HK FASHION WEEK FW 2015

Loving this Wonderful Backdrop at the main entrance. “Light Up is the concept of this season’s art work.

First Show- International Brand Collection Show 1
“Slick French Braid finished a loose textured ponytail” is the reference by the client

Tribal Superheros at Ika Butoni . So suprised to see my dear friend Sandra (right) being the star of the show.

Final touchups before the shows. ( Feel like a dwarf having to fix the model’s hair in tippy toe lol )

Quick Change: 3 pairs of hands trying to put the hair piece on the model in 8 seconds. Thank god for team work^^

My favourite look of Andy Ho’s Collection. Its elegant yet dramatic, CRAZY about the head piece- Kudos to the model to be able to walk in it and its in my favourite colour lol

Day One wearing head to toe one of my favourite hk fashion brands -Modement with the designer Aries Sin. Wearing 5 inch heels in this outfit is worth it^^

Just like last year, the outfit next to me will very likely be what I will be wearing in HKFW16 ^^. (my outfit was on the same mannequin in the same booth last year lol)

Shoulders Back, Sit up straight, Stay Poker faced- Sitting Patiently trying to stay composed at the front row waiting for the Poly U grad show to start.

My favourite piece at the Poly U intimates fashion show. This looks like it can go from bedroom to the red carpet ^^

Ground Zero At Hong Kong Extravangaza this year. So awesome to have Hong Kong fashion Talents doing so well at the international stage.

My Favourite fashion show at This Year’s Fashion Extravaganza. Congrats to Swedish Designer on such an elegant and dramatic collection of couture evening wear. Lots of bling bling^^
Thats it for now. If you are reading this now, thanks so much for looking at the full set of photos. Really want to have a broad view of my day at fashion week. Stay tuned here for my Photo Diary of the other days of fashion week^^
